Carnival Comics has not only given out treats this year, but has received them as well. Besides being on the Must List in Entertainment Weekly, the My Daily App Blog will be opening the doors to the Funhouse and letting the monsters take over their site this Halloween weekend from Friday Oct.30th through Sunday November 1st.
The “Take Over” will consist of our Funhouse Of Horrors monsters being their background for the weekend, along with use of our font for their header. And they’ll be featuring our Carnival Of Souls and Funhouse Of Horrors series apps. The MyDailyApp.com is part of Ovi Store by Nokia and it has all the latest news about the coolest apps in their store. We’re very pleased with the working relationship we have with Nokia and very honored being named a success story for 2009.
Nokia has exclusivity for Funhouse Of Horrors: It’s Murphy’s Law, the second book in the series for the phones. Nokia Fever says this about the book, “Murphy’s Law is another wonderful and scary offering from the imaginative minds of Carnival Comics. The guys at Carnival Comics do know their stuff. The characters, scenery and color shades are so vividly drawn. You can really feel scared just looking at the pictures.” This book features the amazing art of Rudy Vasquez and colors by Dan Kemp. The MyDailyApp will be featuring art by Rich Bonk and Carlito Zuniga.
For those of you who don’t have Nokia phones, you will be able to read the black and white version on myebook.com, a really great ebook website that has the best navigation and look. Lots of good treats; the only tricks are in the stories! So, if you’re feeling brave enough, enter the Funhouse Of Horrors at MyDailyApp.com this Halloween!
