On Jan. 12, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck just off Port-au-Prince, the capital of already suffering Haiti. The quake has caused untold physical damage and left countless people dead, injured or missing, including staff members of the United Nations mission.

Save the Children provides immediate lifesaving assistance, such as food, water, shelter and child-friendly spaces to those in need in Port-au-Prince and the surrounding region.
